The association offers a pension program for trainers at Penn National and Presque Isle Downs who meet the eligibility requirements during the calendar year. Trainers who have 30 combined starts at either track with 50 percent or more of their total starts taking place at Penn National or Presque Isle Downs are automatically enrolled in the program. Vesting occurs after 10 years with a maximum break in eligibility of three years.
